With regard to ZO acne peel, results can last 3-4 months or longer and the peel should be repeated 2-3 times per year to maintain results. After the Dermapen procedure, your body will start to naturally regenerate and repair the skin, working below the surface, in the dermis. This takes time as new collagen is formed, new skin cells are generated and blood supply is enhanced. 48 to 72 hours following the dermapen application, you will have an increase in collagen production. It can take up to 4-6 weeks before visible signs of regeneration and repair are seen and the process will continue over the following months, providing you with a natural and long-lasting result. The number of treatments required varies per person response and condition being treated. As a general guideline, 4-6 treatments are required, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. The results are truly long lasting for up to 2 years.
